Friday Harbour progresses development approvals

Friday Harbour achieved its highly anticipated entitlement milestone in May 2026 with completion of the OLT zoning process for its new hotel and beach residences.

With zoning now advanced, the project team is focused on the next phase of execution, including site plan resubmission and continued hotel design development, supporting a planned construction start in Q1 2027.


Friday Harbour Takes the Plunge in support of the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Foundation

This year Friday Harbour hosted its annual Take the Plunge event supporting the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre's "Keep Life Wild" campaign. Over 100 participants plunged into two-degree water, raising nearly $14,000 toward local health-care initiatives serving the local Innisfil community.

Best-in-class summer programming at Friday Harbour

Friday Harbour is delivering a robust summer programming season that includes enhanced dining experiences across the resort’s lakefront restaurants and patios, a new Summer Concert Series, weekend Promenade activations with local vendors, live entertainment and artisan pop-ups, signature events such as Cars & Jazz, Nature Preserve trails, overnight stays through Lake Simcoe Stays and daily visitor play at The Nest golf course.


Virgin Hotels Las Vegas appoints Lia Rispoli as President and Chief Operating Officer

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Lia Rispoli, who brings nearly three decades of hospitality experience and deep property-level expertise to the role. Since joining the property in 2011, Lia Rispoli has advanced through senior leadership roles across sales, operations and commercial strategy, helping shape the property’s direction with a hands-on, accountable leadership style focused on execution, team alignment and guest experience.


Expanding brand visibility through entertainment exposure

The property continues to build its profile through high-visibility entertainment partnerships. The McBee Dynasty filmed on property in December 2025, with the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas episode scheduled to air on Bravo on August 3, 2026. In June 2026, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County also filmed on property, with the episode expected to air on Hulu in Q4 2026. Both partnership created meaningful opportunities to showcase the property to a broad and mainstream audience.


Driving local engagement through Cherry Rewards

In Q2, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas launched a local extension of its Cherry Rewards loyalty program, supported by a multi-channel marketing campaign spanning paid media, social influencers and local media outreach. The “Locals Get More” campaign has generated 4,000 new sign-ups to date and introduces targeted perks across dining, gaming, pool, spa and hotel experiences, helping broaden the property’s reach among Las Vegas residents.


Enhancing the guest experience with new F&B concepts

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas continued to enhance its dining and lifestyle offerings through strategic investments in new concepts and growing national recognition. The July opening of the Lucia Taco Truck expanded the property's portfolio of convenient, guest-focused dining experiences, while signature venues including Nobu and Kassi Beach House earned coverage in Forbes. Kassi Beach Club was also recognized by Eater and Modern Luxury among Las Vegas' top pool and dining destinations, further reinforcing the property's reputation as a differentiated hospitality, culinary and entertainment destination.
